The Prince of Persia was guest at GameOne and had to experience a lot of criticism but also a bot of laud. Points of criticism are mainly the low difficulty during fights and, connected to that, the enemy KI. Furthermore, the level design was criticised. Altogether, nontheless, a positive conclusion has been drawn.

Like many other game sites the german site spieletipps.de also had the possibility to play Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands at Ubisoft in Hamburg. They have written a very positive preview about the game and unlike IGN and Gamona they have the opinion that the game is very hard and can be frustrating.

The editors of the german page onipepper.de had the chance to visit Ubisoft in Hamburg an play a preview copy of Prince of Persia - The forgotten Sands. They seized the opportunity to interview Jan-Erik Sjovall, the animation director from whom they learned some interesting details.
So it is that the new elementary attacks have to be leveled up before being able to unleash their full destructional potential.
Furthermore, there is going to be a recall power whith which the player will be able to recover destroyed parts of the level. That of course sounds very similar to the Elika power introduced with the DLC of PoP2008.
The most important information Mr Sjovall knows to deliver is that Ubisoft wants to appeal to casual and hardcore gamers in equal measure and therefore integrated three different difficulties into the games.
